This week we are joined by Brandon Martin and we are going to be discussing the issues of people not taking responsibility for their actions. The behavior of complaining without any offer to make a change or come up with a viable solution in order to change that condition. You will be able to find more of Brandon's work at the One Great Work Network: Brandon Martin - One Great Work Network.

So, let's get started and move into our main topic today.
We are living in a society that is being conditioned to be more and more compliant to any supposed authority and to retreat when any sort of possible, uncomfortable conflict might arise. A lot of complaining and pointing out the obvious but proving no viable solutions whatsoever in order to change it. All solutions that are proposed end up being completely, or almost completely, ineffective on the larger scale of things.
It's a conditioning, that I think, is one to train and stimulate only the emotions, bypassing the use of critical thought altogether to endure that no changes are every effective. It's all bark and no bite.
So, my question is where are the problem solvers who are also willing to take that to the next step, into action, in order to create real-world physical change? Where are the people who are willing to lead by example?
And then we have these same people, who are way down the conspiracy rabbit hole, that they are unable to see any real solutions and they don't even try. They chalk it all up to something like daemons or some other distraction that makes it impossible for them to focus on goals they can achieve. And when they don't agree they run off into some other branch that has nothing to do with what you are saying. Or worse they completely misconstrue what you say because of some personal trigger they have … a result of what I think is because they do not have their thoughts, emotions and actions in order within themselves. They over complicate whatever it is they are thinking or feeling and this makes the filter they would normally have as an adult with life experience difficult to maintain. They become trapped in their personal trauma and then process to inadvertently make it other people's problem because they can't bear the responsibility themselves.
This I feel is making it difficult for people to stay on task, to remain focus and unite in a single goal despite our differences.
Thank you everybody for being here and listening! Message me with any questions or thoughts and I will be sure to address them in the next show! See ya' next time for another rambling on Cross Talk!
