My husband, Chuck, and I recently visited our old hometown of Denver where we attended our friend, Johnny Hurley's, memorial. He was a hero before the day he stopped an active shooter and then lost his life to a bullet from the cops.
The grief experienced from his passing was palpable as we gathered to celebrate and honor his life. It was a deep honor to know Johnny.
This event came during a time when it seems the collective is also experiencing deep grief. The end of the old world and the loss of many lives. We are going through deep changes. I believe it's best to just go with the grief, feeling it, allowing it - knowing that there are really no ends, just transitions. From death, comes new beginnings.
May this track bring you comfort and peace and be a reminder of why you came.
