Scales/Balance of Ma’at
Creating or supporting evil/immorality weighs you down; heavy-heart, being heavier than the feather of Moral Truth.
The “heart” is viewed as the fountain of man’s deeds, the driving motivational source of will and actions.
Did you take in moral truth? Did you align, harmonize and equalize to it (1:1)? Then you’re in equilibrium/balance with moral truth (ma’at). Your individual core (heart)/essence has welcomed the universal essence of moral truth (ma’at). You have True Care, caring for moral truth, leading to moral actions; you’re in equilibirum with moral truth.
Karma is action/deed. What happens as a result of your actions? Are you serving good or evil? Live by moral truth (ma’at) and uphold the positive side of justice, or go against morality and get negative justice by creating evil.
Reciprocity/Balance
Two Pillars of Balance: the Good or the Evil
Live by Moral Truth, or face negative consequences
Positive Potential (Maat)
If you want to be treated by others a certain away, then treat them that way. (benefit ideally, or harm)
Negative Potential (Isfet)
If you don’t want to be treated by others a certain away, then don’t treat them that way.
