What can be said that already hasn't regarding Tolkien's Legendarium? There's only around a few dozen channels dedicated to his works right!? Now with plenty of ai generated content to add more artificial simulacre & simulation. How about some poetry, tarot, triquetra, comedy, tragedy, mythos, Hermetica, music, trials, tribulations, salutations, and other real life relativities packed into 33 minutes?
This was made for the Freedom Under Natural Law (FUNL) Conference this past Feb 21st 2026.. All the information, links and other presentations including the whole conference livestream replays are on the FUNL website: https://freedomundernaturallaw.com
I only had half an hour for this project and I may have crammed in more than necessary, but most topics discussed may see further reiterations in future videos to flush out more of what I'd like to share and say. The pacing may seem slow, but the images, text and slides pass by quick and it helps to press pause throughout to understand the multiple points I'm making simultaneously..
So what the hell does "Light The Beacons of The Flame Imperishable" mean? Am I just feeding the Tolkienian appetite with some LoTR word salad? The Flame Imperishable is your eternal soul, your free will, your extraordinary life-force energy.. Lighting the beacons of that is to remember who you are & what you're made of, and activate more that's been laying dormant within you. Kindling the Generative Principle of Care in ways of honoring this existence. To ignite sparks of motivation in our continual quest in the hero's' journey of life. Climbing all the way up the alchemical mountains, casting golden light from the summits like a beacon!
Something I should have prefaced better in the introduction is that I speak about Tolkien's Lore far outside the LoTR books- as far back as the Simarilion at least, so I understand if it's hard to follow at times, including Tom Bombadil who wasn't in any of the movie adaptations, yet a vital character in the LoTR before the Fellowship came to be.
P.S.
Much love to the folks who enriched the FUNL conference with their works, to those who watched the live event, and to those who supported us in any way..
P.P.S.
Special shout out to Chris, Leslie & Will for all they've done in putting this all together. Thank you very much for having me on the team and entrusting my assistance in any way with FUNL over the past 2-3 events.
P.P.P.S. Thanx again Chris & Leslie for letting me visit during the conference weekend. Doing 24 hours of livestreaming together over the weekend was unforgettably fantastic!
P.P.P.P.S.
All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.
