Conscience - Knowing Right From Wrong
Freedom is morality; they are 2 sides of the same concept.
And conscience is an inner understanding of morality - knowing right from wrong.
Conscience is holistic, in that we know right from wrong both intellectually, in terms of logic and reason, and also intuitively, in terms of common sense.
The ability to develop conscience is particular to human nature, built atop our intelligence, free will, and the fact that our minds can be programmed in a certain way.
In this outtake from my presentation "Understanding Human Nature," I dive in deep to the positive expression of morality, as well as the current inverted social ideology of moral relativism, which is the prevailing paradigm of most people's worldview.
I also share my own experience with developing a conscience, and provide a homework assignment for those who wish to go deeper.
